NO: RAF SIMONS FOR DOC MARTENS


Another collaboration. Not a fan of the Eastpak stuff, so I'm not expecting a lot from this. Via WWD.

    wait - i thought you were totally into the whole 'backpacks are cool again' thing. at least the eastpack stuff is pretty minimal, not to mention the least heinous of what's out there...

    I like backpacks, and it's not that Raf x Eastpak stuff is terribly ugly, it's just not as good as I expected, but expectedly expensive. Better backpacks are out there. Anyhow, now that I think about it, those shoes look like they'd have a pretty hot love-child, but I'm not going to go back on it.

    maybe i just have low expectations for everything. we'll see how this turns out, i could use a pair of patent leather boots...
